The bouquet is composed by notes of red fruits such as strawberry, cherry and raspberry.
On the palate is harmonious and fruity. It is characterized by good salinity and persistence.
The name and label of this wine were inspired by the story of the Teste di Moro (Moor’s heads). According to the legend, a girl fell in love with a Moor, who returned her feelings. Despite the passion, this love story was destined to be brief.The girl eventually discovered that her beloved had to go back to the East, where his wife and children were waiting for him. Consumed by anger and jealousy, the girl murdered the Moor while he was asleep, decapitating him.The man's head would later be used as a pot for a basil plant.

Grapes Harvest: Manual harvesting in boxes and careful selection of grapes in the vineyard. Once in winery, they are destemmed.

Production area: North-Western Sicily
Vinification: Short cold maceration, soft pressing temperatu- re-controlled fermentation. After an aging period of about 3 months on temperature-controlled yeasts, the base wine is put in a pressure tank and sparkling wine is obtained using the long Charmat method.
